Boudoir & Intimate Image Privacy
Additional privacy rules for sensitive portrait and boudoir post-production.
1. Adult-only boudoir submissions
Photographers must confirm that every boudoir/intimate subject submitted for editing is an adult and that the photographer has lawful permission to create and outsource the images.
2. Confidential by default
Boudoir images should be treated as confidential production material. They are not public portfolio assets simply because Pixeldotedit edited them.
3. No marketing without separate written consent
Do not publish, repost, feature, enter in marketing, use in ads or display in staff training presentations without specific written permission that covers the intended use.
4. Restricted production access
Only staff and approved subprocessors who need the files for the order should have access. Use role-based permissions and avoid sending sensitive images through uncontrolled personal messaging accounts.
5. AI tools
Do not send boudoir imagery to AI services that retain uploads for model training unless the photographer has explicitly authorized that use and the vendor’s terms meet the studio’s privacy obligations.
6. File naming and communication
Use project IDs or professional job names rather than unnecessary sensitive descriptions in filenames, emails or support tickets.
7. Delivery and deletion
Return files through the approved client account/transfer method. After delivery and the documented retention window, remove active production copies unless a lawful reason requires longer retention.
8. Photographer obligations
The photographer remains responsible for model releases, age verification, client expectations, local law and any privacy promises made in their own studio contract.
